NeuroThrive was created to bridge the gap between knowledge and daily life. Families often leave evaluations or therapy sessions with insight - but without a clear plan for how to apply that insight at home. My work combines professional expertise, lived experience, and neuroscience to help parents and children build the understanding and skills they need to thrive. You’ll leave each session with clarity, actionable steps, and a sense of hope that change is possible.
Core Beliefs:
Every child wants to do well.
Behavior is communication.
Parents thrive when they feel equipped, not overwhelmed.
About
Philosophy
As both a professional and a parent, I understand how hard it can be to recognize the underlying reasons for a child’s emotions and behaviors AND the frustration that comes with trial and error when strategies don’t seem to work. That’s why I designed this program—to give parents consistent, personalized guidance so they can implement the appropriate support with confidence and success. I meet your child where they are—helping them feel understood, valued, and motivated to grow.
With understanding and individualized support, your child can flourish—and you can feel more confident and empowered as a parent.
The goal is not just to “fix behavior.” It’s to help your child understand themselves, build skills, and thrive socially, emotionally, and academically.
Meet Lauren
Lauren is a speech-language pathologist, parent, and founder of NeuroThrive Coaching. She has worked with many neuro patients of all ages in acute, inpatient, outpatient, clinic and home settings. She has specialized training in neuroaffirming practice, neurodiversity, executive function, sensory integration, and play therapy. Personal and professional experience has allowed her to offer skilled coaching sessions for toddlers, school-aged children, adolescents, and their families.
Lauren uses a holistic and person-centered approach that promotes skill building through principles from traditional cognitive-linguistic therapy, metacognitive training, and executive function strategies for everyday life. Her mission is to increase understanding of the root cause of behaviors, promote regulation and boost confidence for children. In collaboration with families, she hopes to equip each client with the knowledge to make meaningful progress toward goals.
Outside of work, you can find Lauren drinking a cup of joe, enjoying time with her family (or attempting to regulate them!), outside in nature, or trying her hand at a new recipe.
